PROJECT LANHAM

Modern Dining Nook & Living Room

Project Type: Residential Open-Concept Living
Scope: Furnishings, Styling & Art Placement
Design Style: Modern · Neutral · Refined Comfort

Project Overview

This open-concept living and dining space was designed to feel light, cohesive, and elevated, with a focus on balance, flow, and understated luxury. The goal was to create a seamless transition between areas while allowing each space to feel intentional and distinct.

Design Concept

A soft neutral palette was used throughout to create visual continuity and a calming foundation. Clean lines, sculptural forms, and warm metallic accents were layered to achieve a modern yet inviting atmosphere.

In the dining nook, a round table was selected to soften the space and encourage conversation, paired with plush upholstered seating for comfort and elegance. A statement chandelier anchors the area, adding visual interest while defining the dining zone within the open layout.

The living room was centered around a sleek, modern fireplace wall, designed as the primary focal point. Thoughtfully selected furnishings balance comfort with structure, while glass and metallic accents introduce lightness and subtle luxury. Layered textiles and sculptural décor add depth without overwhelming the space.

Artwork was intentionally curated and scaled to complement the architecture, reinforcing symmetry and enhancing the overall flow of the room.
